A “City Home” furniture store opens in the old mill


Buyers and visitors to the Old mill district in Bend can expect a greater level of retail diversity this summer with the planned opening of a famous Portland-based home furnishings, decor and interior design retailer. Townhouse, which sells a mix of new and vintage-inspired furniture, decor and accessories at four Portland subway stations, will open its first and only Central Oregon showroom by mid-June in the neighborhood Old Mill.

The City Home’s Bend showroom will be located at 425 SW Powerhouse Dr., Suite 307 – the current location of Simply Mac – between Loop and Greg’s Grill along the Deschutes River.

In turn, Simply Mac – which provides a full line of Apple products, accessories, training and support – will remain in the Old Mill neighborhood and move to 330 SW Powerhouse Dr., Suite 320, between Evoke Winery and Avalon Salon and Spa.
