Make their house feel like a home. After Odette Annable (née Yustman) and husband Dave annable Moving from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas, the couple tackled a burgeoning renovation project to freshen up their new home.
“We’re moving! To Austin! For so many reasons and yes, it’s absolutely bittersweet to leave LA right now, but it’s also insanely exciting and that’s exactly what my family needs. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Walker star – his second season on The CW on October 28 – embraced his passion for interiors and design to furnish his family’s new home.
“Since Hollywood closed, I’ve put my creative energy into turning this’ 90s situation into a modern makeover,” she continued in uploading to social media at the time. “I love interiors, I love to design and I hope you will follow this adventure and help me make choices for our new home! I need a hashtag. Can you guys throw in some ideas? #casaannable? #annablesdoaustin? Nope. Help me. . PS the stucco goes, give me all the smooth walls and some new babyyyy paint. Since then, the California native has shared her design progress on the social media site, documenting her journey of painting and decorating.
“Hit you with a before / during / after of our mud room”, the Cloverfield shared alum A small preview in March. “This renovation went quickly at the start and because of Covid’s delays with the furniture, we slowed down. I still have a way to go, but I’m excited to share this little room which has some of my favorite things in it. Hats, books, plush pillows and all baskets. #renovatetheannablesyall oh yeah the kitchen reveal is coming! We went with Sherwin Williams Greenblack, you can see a bit in the background;) ”
The couple – who married in 2010 – sold their West Hollywood bungalow amid the pandemic after going through lockdown with the Brothers & Sisters the star’s family in Austin.
“I am a daughter of the Valley, born and raised. I was completely resistant [to move], admitted Odette Domino reviewed in July.
As the couple ended up making an offer on a ’90s-inspired property that was the opposite of their style, Odette could see its potential with the interior spaces and both an open backyard and a swimming pool where their girl could play.
“I immediately saw the vision,” recalls Odette to the design magazine. “I knew the bones were good and if I had to tear everything up and take it apart, I would.”
In addition to tackling DIY projects to decorate the house, the duo told the designer Erin fetherston to decorate the place to make it a family residence.
The cast met on the set of the final season of Brothers Sisters before their wedding in October 2010. The couple then welcomed Charlie in September 2015.
After nine years of marriage, Us weekly confirmed in October 2019 that the couple had separated.
“It is with a heavy heart that we have made the mutual decision to go our separate ways at this time,” they said in a joint statement to We at the time. “Our daughter is our main concern and we remain committed to co-parenting together. We ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time. “
After quarantining themselves together amid the pandemic, the couple reconciled in August 2020, sharing the news via Instagram. “2020. It’s not all bad news. #TheAnnables ”, Odette captioned a photo of the duo kissing on a beach.
