Kamsack RCMP were in the community, participating in a bike rodeo and Decorating Day.
KAMSACK — The Kamsack RCMP helped organize a bike rodeo to help teach kids about bike safety while riding the streets.
It turned out to be a huge success with strong attendance. Many kids walked away with new prizes, some of which included new bikes. It was even said that the first responders lost to the kids in soccer, good job guys.
Kamsack RCMP members were invited to attend the D-Day Parade at Kamsack Cemetery with Cst. Holhoyi as a straight marker in serge. Many veterans were present as well as their families and loved ones. We must always remember those who fought to get us to where we are today. It is also nice to see a proud constable, who embodies the core values of the RCMP, don the red serge.
Kamsack RCMP have issued numerous warnings, as well as speeding tickets, over the past week. As the weather improves, people get excited and decide to go a little faster with their windows down and some music. Let’s do two of those three things and cut out the speeding part. Kamsack RCMP have and will continue to do more patrols on the highways to ensure people follow the posted speed limits in the area.
