Luxury Home Furniture by Luxury Motor Company | Home Bentley

From the famous car brand Bentley Engines, Home Bentley recently created two new luxury home furniture collections at Milan Design Week.

Jo experience the same sought-after thrill felt behind the wheel of a luxury car in the comfort of your own home, look no further than Bentley’s furniture collection. Home Bentley is the emblematic furniture brand of the luxury automotive company, defined as “a space where luxury and personalization take shape, surrounded by the finest materials”.

Cooperation between Home Bentley designers and the design team of Bentley Engines ensures cohesion between their cars and luxury home furniture collections. As a result, similar materials, patterns and shapes inherent in Bentley cars are ingrained in their unique furnishings.

Home Bentley Workshop recently introduced two new luxury home furniture collections during Design Week in Milan—Solstice and 2022.

The solstice is Bentley Home’s premier collection of outdoor furniture, designed to celebrate outdoor living in the great outdoors. Home Bentley Designer Carlo Colombo led the design of the collection, placing importance on incorporating “Bentley design DNA” into each piece.

The front matrix grille characteristic of Bentley’s modern car range inspired a key furnishing detail. The stainless steel that envelops the Solstice Sofa, Armchair and Loveseat is a “super-mirror” – a highly polished steel created by the highly skilled craftsmen of Bentley House.

Garden furniture must withstand the outdoor environment – the weatherproof velvet, chenille and satin fabrics available in the Solstice collection are all treated for outdoor use. Achieving such durability required sophisticated research into each of the premium textiles. A sustainable fabric option is also available: the exclusive MARMMORE® fabric, made from waste marble powder. The final fabric option is hemp and is also resistant to outdoor elements.

Other highlights of the Solstice collection include the Solstice coffee table and side tablewhich also feature a “super-mirror” steel finish, and the Sun lounger Solsticea comfortable relaxation room by the pool.

2022 is a collection of interior furniture – a new collection of interior furniture is presented every year at Milan Design Week. 2022 strikes the perfect balance between nature and futuristic architecture – an ode to what is and what will be.

The Galloway sofa and lounge chair be inspired by the beauty of the Irish Sea and the surrounding landscape. A curve from the legs to the armrests, a frame made of three layers of wood veneers and warm leather upholstery mimic thick forests and peaceful mountain hills.

The Helston coffee table is available in two sizes (each stands independently or nests as a pair) and can be customized with a marble, leather or wood top. The first of its kind offered by Home Bentleythe Ryde Ottoman Pouf is engulfed in a wood veneer and also sports a customizable top.

The collection’s signature wood veneer and leather upholstery also meet the Havergate cabinet and sideboard. Bentley designers used both volume and voids to create balance in these storage and display pieces. The wood veneer is obtained through a complex process of varnishing and airbrushing, reproducible only thanks to the highly refined technical skills of Home Bentley‘s artisans.

Notable accents to the collection include new Ramsey lighting pieces and the Stirling mirror. The new Ramsey luminaires join past works in the Home Bentley Ramsey line. They feature diamond pattern engravings inspired by the quilting of Bentley cars. Pieces are available in gunmetal gray finish steel with black marquina marble bases or champagne finish steel with Calacatta marble bases.

The Stirling mirror was developed in part with designer Francesco Forcellini. The sculpture-like composition is linked to the elements used throughout the 2022 collection: iconic curves, diamond patterns and softened corners. Silver alloy is one of the finishing options available that requires a handmade glass-working process popularized in the mid-20th century but rare today.
