Popular home improvement trade show returns to Dublin this month


The Selfbuild Home Improvement Show takes place at Citywest from March 11-13, promising homeowners or those looking to climb the property ladder, plenty of inspiration on how to get the most out of their space. .

Billed as the “ultimate showcase for people who are building, expanding, improving or simply decorating their homes”, the event will feature over 120 local exhibitors, two theaters, 20 expert speakers, a modern building system area, one-on-one expert talks for tips and more inspiration for the home.

In terms of exhibitors, the event promises a huge range, including building materials, bathrooms, planning, finance, insulation, windows, heating systems, energy technologies and more. again.

There will be plenty of garden design and renovation inspiration with exhibitors such as Berko Pod Systems Ltd, Starview Hot Tubs NI and The Garden Design Shop.

Meanwhile, some of the kitchen exhibitors will include Blackthorn Furniture Ltd and Grange Design. There will also be architectural designers such as Home Rise Construction and Healy McKeown.

When it comes to finding land, planning and building permits, plenty of advice will be available at the Bootcamp Theatre. Discussions will cover topics such as finding land, applying for planning permission, house plans, environmental building and planning your bathroom.

At the Daikin Theater you will receive excellent advice, ideas and inspiration for your own project. Some of the discussions that will take place here include bathroom trends for 2022 and how to protect your property from soaring energy costs.

A familiar face that audiences will recognize at the event is comedian Eric Lawlor, who will act as host as a panel of experts navigating the self-build course.

Additionally, there will be the Modern Building System stand which will provide visitors with an overview of alternatives to the traditional block.

Selfbuild Live takes place at the Citywest Convention Center between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on March 11, 12, and 13.
