The Shapes From Home Furniture collection has gone from dream to reality

Levi Christiansen House shapes The furniture collection is literally the stuff of dreams – all five pieces were inspired by lucid dreams of a world of objects buried in his subconscious. The dreams first appeared when Christiansen was a child, only coming true after her mother met an oracle who told her that her job was reminiscent of another life. Inspired, he dove to a place he had never seen in waking life to make his visions a reality.

The Arizona-based self-taught furniture designer started the process with a family of shapes he hoped to use as a map. This study led to refined and distilled shapes that have become familiar and comfortable. And through detailed craftsmanship and heirloom materials, Christiansen has made tactile what once lived only in her mind. The Straddle Side Table, Plural Table, Juntos Shelf, Rhoco Chair and There, There Sofa follow Christiansen’s organic approach to design, combining style and functionality.
